Professional Development Plan Workbook

In most companies, professional development is lead by the employee, highlighted and supported by peer and supervisors, and powered through opportunities to grow skills with long term goals and shorter term Objectives and Key Results (OKR's).

A Professional Development Plan is a starting point for understanding where you are in your career, clarifying what you want for yourself professionally, and setting goals to help you find success in whatever ways are most meaningful to you. Once you as an individual understand your career goals, your professional development plan and goals should be shared with your managers or mentors so that you can work together to get the support you need, be challenged, be held accountable, and get connected to the right opportunities to further your learning.

This workbook has been developed for individuals to work through independently to understand their past experience, determine their future goals, and develop a plan to get from where they are to where they want to be.
